Two St. Cloud Police Officers Injured in Juvenile Altercation

Police officers were injured breaking up a fight between teenage residents of the St. Cloud Children's Home on Thursday night. Police received a call to a resident's cottage on the 1700 block of 7th Avenue South on reports of a fight with at least 9 residents who were also allegedly threatening Children's Home staff members. Sources say at least 10 officers responded to the scene to break up the altercation and get the scene under control.

Seven juveniles were arrested between the ages of 14 and 16. They face multiple charges ranging from assault and obstruction to rioting. St. Cloud Police confirm two of the officers were injured in the altercation, with one of them suffering a broken nose.
