Tri-County Humane Society to Host Annual Woofstock 5K

ST. CLOUD -- You can grab your furry friend and join in on this year's Woofstock Companion Walk 5K.

The walk will begin tomorrow (Saturday) with registration beginning at 9:00 a.m. and the walk starting at 10:00 a.m.

The event is hosted by the Tri-County Humane Society. Besides the 5K, the event features games, prizes for top fundraisers and fundraising team, a pet costume contest and it's annual hot dog eating contest.

All proceeds of the event go toward supporting the Tri-County Humane Society. This year's goal is to raise $62,500 for pets in need.

Over 600 people and 300 pets came out to last year's Woofstock.
