Tootsie Pop Named Minnesota’s Favorite Halloween Candy

Halloween is a little more than a month away. You've probably noticed significantly more candy at your local grocery stores lately.

A website called CandyStore.com just ranked the most popular Halloween candies to hand out in each state.

According to the site, the most popular candy by far is Skittles followed by M&M's, Snickers, Reese's Peanut Butter Cups and Starburst.

So, where does Minnesota stand in the whole candy debate? We're known for a few things here...but, since tater tot hot dish isn't a candy...and neither is a Juicy Lucy, those options are off the table.

Minnesota's favorite candy to pass out on Halloween is the Tootsie Pop. And, I'm sure every Minnesota kid has tried to count how many licks it takes to get to the center.

The runner up candy in Minnesota was Skittles followed by...candy corn? Really. That's not even a good candy.
