Today I Learned That Cool Touch Tissues Are A Thing

I've been sneezing like crazy the last few days. I've got a serious case of seasonal allergies. My co-worker asked me if I'd like a tissue. I immediately said yes!

He reached into his desk and pulled out a blue box of tissues. I went to grab one and immediately made a face that let him know I was confused.

He asked me what was wrong and I said, these tissues are cold and they feel slimy. He laughed and said that they are cool touch tissues. I had never heard of such a thing. He just replied, "welcomed to the future."

I had heard the name "cool touch tissues" before but I didn't put two and two together. I thought they meant cool as in hip, not cool as in chilly.

The cool touch tissues are supposed to be better for your nose because they are more moist. They feel cool to the touch and they are kind of slippery. The future is a great place to be when you suffer from allergies. I have to go find a new rock to live under. Stay healthy my friends.
