This is Why I Will Never be Able to Attend a Super Bowl in Person
I dream of seeing a Super Bowl in person, then I add up the cost and realize the 50-dollars I (might) spend to have some people over at the house to watch the game, is a much smarter option.
According to this article from The Seattle Times, this year's game (Super Bowl 49), for two people, will run you up towards NINE-THOUSAND-DOLLARS!!!
Let me clear my throat... NINE-THOUSAND-DOLLARS. That is not a typo.
I can think of much better ways to spend that much money than a football game. That price is OUTRAGEOUS to me, especially when I can watch from a comfortable couch, on a 55-inch HD-TV, with surround sound, no line at the bathroom, with very low food and beer cost.
Again, would it be cool to attend a Super Bowl, YES... for nine-thousand-dollars, NO!
How much money will you spend on your Super Bowl Party this year? I'm guessing I'll drop between 30-and-50-dollars, max. Pot luck with your friends is the best way to go. Lots of food, low cost.
