If you are heading into your 30s, or perhaps already there, then these suggestions are definitely for you. If you are over 40, then you better hurry! 50 is right around the corner. I wanted to see if I agreed with the suggestions that current people in their fifties have for those of us that aren't there yet. Here's what they said.

  • DON'T EVER SMOKE...IF YOU DO...STOP IMMEDIATELY

  • FIX RELATIONSHIPS WITH PARENTS AND SIBLINGS
  • EXERCISE REGULARLY
  • SAVE MONEY
  • BE CONTENT WITH WHAT YOU HAVE
  • PURSUE LIFE GOALS- THINGS THAT MAKE YOU HAPPY
  • SLEEP
  • TAKE CARE OF YOUR TEETH
  • MAKE AND COLLECT MEMORIES INSTEAD OF THINGS
  • GIVE SOMETHING BACK
  • BE CURIOUS AND DO ONE THING THAT SCARES YOU EVERYDAY
  • READ 10 BOOKS A YEAR
  • TRAVEL AS MUCH AS POSSIBLE
  • MEDITATE
  • STOP COMPARING YOURSELF TO OTHERS
  • TAKE CARE OF YOUR FRIENDS
  • BUY A HOME
