Things To Do In Central Minnesota On Halloween
If you're like me, you'll probably stay home, pass out candy, watch Halloween movies and make some sort of festive food--or eat pounds of candy. But, if you're looking for something else to do on Halloween here are a few alternatives.
1. St. Cloud State Men's Hockey Game: The puck drops at 7:07 p.m. at the Herb Brooks National Hockey and Events Center. The Huskies will take on Miami University (OH).
2. Haunted House: From 8 p.m-10:30 p.m. the public can enjoy free refreshments in the basement of the Holy Cross Parish in Bowlus.
3. Molitor's Haunted Acres: Halloween night is the last night that Molitor's Haunted Acres will be open for the season.
4. Crossroads Mall trick-or-treating: Stores will be passing out candy on Halloween from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. to children who come dressed in costumes.
5. Pre-Nap Halloween Party: Barnes & Noble is hosting a trick-or-treating event and story time at 11 a.m. for younger kids to participate in before their nap time.
6. Spooky Storytime: The Clearwater Public Library is hosting a Halloween event with stories and snacks. Pre-registration is required. You can pre-register at www.griver.org.
7. Planetarium Laser Light Show-Fright Night II: St. Cloud State University is holding a Halloween laser light show starting at 1 p.m. You're encouraged to make a $5 donation.
8. Showing of The Exorcist: At 10 p.m. Macus Parkwood Cinema in Waite Park will be showing the 1973 film The Exorcist.
