Girl Pitches In Cleveland Indians And Oakland A’s Baseball Training Camp For The First Time Ever
Yesterday on The Morning MIX, Jen and I told you about the girl who plans to ruin baseball. Justine Siegal threw batting practice at the Cleveland Indians’ spring training facility in Arizona, marking the first time this has ever happened in the MLB.
She pitched batting practice yesterday, again... this time for the Oakland A’s.
This isn’t the first time the 36-year old has been a baseball gender pioneer — in 2009 Siegal became the first woman to coach first base for a men’s professional team when she did so for the Broxton Rox of the Canadian-American League.
