If you had to relocate, you'd probably want to find a city with a strong job market, cheap places to live, things like good weather, low crime, tons of restaurants and recreation. Only three cities in the entire country meet all of those criteria. And they're all pretty close to each other in the Midwest. A recent study found that the only cities with good jobs, affordable housing, and a high quality of life are Omaha, Nebraska, Des Moines, Iowa and Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.

There are a few cities that have two of the three. Cincinnati, Ohio is affordable and has good quality of life, but the job market is terrible. Houston, Texas is affordable and has a good job market, but it got bad scores for quality of life. Boise, Seattle, San Francisco and Portland all have a strong quality of life and great job markets, but the housing isn't affordable.
