The World’s Ugliest Dog From Minnesota Has Passed Away

I can feel my heart break. Just weeks after being crowned the World's Ugliest Dog, Zsa Zsa the bulldog passed away in her sleep at the age of nine. Zsa Zsa passed away early Tuesday morning her owner, Megan Brainerd, told TODAY. Zsa Zsa was staying with Megan's father and when he woke up she was unresponsive. Megan said:

"She knew she was special. She never really showed much excitement but yes, she was definitely living it up after she won,"

Zsa Zsa was originally from Missouri where she spent the first 5 years of her life at a puppy mill. She was rescued by Megan Brainerd of Anoka, who owns K9 & Kitty Kutters down in the Twin Cities. Zsa Zsa's trademark crooked teeth, extra long tongue, and pink toenails will be missed by many, and our hearts go out to her owners at this time.
