An off the wall comedy where after 20 years five buddies reunite for epic pub crawl from yet having to find themselves as the only hope for survival for humankind.

I think more than anything else the film is about beer and the never ending desires of one of the characters, after all it's the pub crawl thing if you catch my drift.

It's a little while to get going, but when it does be ready, there are a lot of 'accidents' in the film that take place and to catch the drift as to why is kinda of fun.

If you saw the the films ,'Shawn of the Dead' and 'Hot Fuzz' you'll get a better idea as to where this film is going a it's the final film of the 'Cornetto Trilogy' by Edgar Wright. The pub where they reunite is appropriately named 'The World's End' , it's English so the humor is dry.

The film stars  Simon Pegg, Nick Frost, Martin Freeman, Paddy Considine, Eddie Marsan and is directed by Edgar Wright.

I give this film a 3.5 out of 5 simply because it's a fun film to watch, it's loaded with high caliber sci-fi action and a lot of word play, so pay close attention to catch on.

The film is rated 'R' and runs 109 minutes, now showing at the Parkwood Cinemas in Waite Park ( click on the link for showtimes).

Parental guide info: the language is overwhelming and includes many sexual related references.
