    Who's Afraid of Virginia Wolf

    Pioneer Place

    This classic story features a married couple, whose relationship is defined by verbal battles, fuels by alcohol. The story takes a turn when a faculty mixer lands a new university professor and his wife at the couples house and they get caught up in the antics as well and now are finding a need to hurt each other and everyone around them. Tickets for the show range between $19-$22. Showtimes start at 7:30 p.m. tomorrow (Friday) through Saturday and 2:00 p.m. on Sunday.

    HYMNFEST

    St. John's University

    A renowned choir will be performing at St. John's Abbey Church for the first time in six years this weekend. The National Lutheran Choir will perform several selections of sacred music, and will feature the voices of the audience, joining in the great American tradition of hymn singing. The show is free to anyone to attend, however there is a free will offering. Concert begins at 8:00 p.m. Saturday night.

    VoicePlay

    College of St. Benedict's

    From street-corner barbershop act, to their dazzling appearance on NBC's fourth season of "The Sing-Off" VoicePlay is on the fast track to fame. The group has created a unique style of a capella with loads of humor thrown in. The group ping-pongs between eras and styles from Journey to One Direction, bringing their special brand of cleverness on stage theatrics. The show is fit for all ages and one you have to see it to believe. Tickets for the show are $25 for the general public and discounted for staff and students. The show starts at 7:30 p.m. Saturday at the Escher Auditorium.

    Ernest in Love

    Great Blue Heron

    Enjoy dinner and a show this week in Cold Spring. The Great Northern Theatre Company is holding their musical Ernest in Love at the Great Blue Heron. The show follows the tale of  two young Victorian aristocrats whose use of double identities to escape social obligations complicates their respective romances. Tickets for the show are $38 which includes dinner. Dinner starts at 6:30 p.m. followed by the show at 7:30 p.m. tonight (Thursday), tomorrow (Friday) and Saturday.
