    Under the Stars Movie Series

    Whitney Memorial Park

    Grab your family, friends and a blanket and enjoy a movie under the stars in St. Cloud tonight (Thursday). The St. Cloud Park and Recreation department is holding the first of their Under the Stars Movie Series at Whitney Memorial Park. Seating with open at 7:30 p.m. with the film starting at dusk. This weeks featured film is "Sing." The event is free however their will be concessions available for purchase.

    9th Annual Wild West Show

    El Rancho Manana

    Get a taste of the old west right here in Central Minnesota this weekend with the 9th Annual Wild West Show. The Wild Creek Entertainers bring back their portrayal of historical characters, with a touch of comedy that will make you yell Yee-Haw. The even includes stage coach rides, kids activities, food vendors and an evening dance. Gates open at 9:00 a.m. Saturday with the fun starting at 1:00 p.m. at El Rancho Manana campground. Tickets for the show are $8 per person and you can get them on the Value Connection for $5.50.

    Celebration of Fatherhood

    Lake George

    With Father's Day this weekend, here is a special event to share with dad at Lake George Saturday. The 23rd Annual Celebration of Fatherhood runs from 9:30am-12:30pm and is a free event for all dads and kids ages 0-8. The event includes parent-child activities, craft projects, story walk, free books, obstacle course, face painting, bubbles, food, music and more. All family members are welcome as well! With the event being free they are asking for a Food Shelf donations if you plan to attend.

    Quiet Riot

    Sauk Rapids

    Sauk Rapids will be rocking this weekend with the music of Quiet Riot. The band will be performing Saturday night out at Old Capital Tavern as part of the restaurants 5 year Anniversary celebration. There will also be music on Friday night as "Little Texas" headlines the evening. This is a 21 plus event and features beer, food and dancing. Tickets for the show are $20 per day or $30 for the weekend. Gates open at 5:00 p.m. with music starting at 6:00 p.m. on Friday and on Saturday gates open at 2:00 p.m. with music at 3:00 p.m. This is a rain or shine event.

    Park Hop with HikeHoppers

    Quarry Park

    Lace up your hiking shoes are tour some of the most beautiful parks in Central Minnesota this weekend. The Park Hop event involves hike "hopping" to three different parks around the St. Cloud area (Quarry, Kraemer Lake, and Rockville County Parks). Each hike is a family-friendly event and under two miles. The day concludes with a community lunch, arts and craft fair and kid's corner at Quarry Park and Nature Preserve. The walk starts at 7:00 a.m. at Quarry Park and costs $30 to attend.
