    Jugfest 2017

    St. Joseph

    A summer festival celebrating community, local music and friendship comes to St. Joseph this weekend. Jugfest 2017 is celebrating their 10th year at Millstream Park Friday and Saturday. The day will consist of food, beer and the best local musical acts around and at no cost to you. This is a 21 plus event however you are welcome to bring your kids if you choose. The event is free but you are asked to donate to the "JUG." The music starts at 5:00 p.m. on Friday and 3:00 p.m. on Saturday.

    Red, White and Louie

    Little Falls

    Emmy Award winning comedian Louie Anderson will be making a stop in Little Falls this weekend. Great River Arts presents An Evening With Louie Sunday. Anderson has recently been involved with the FX television show Baskets and well as many surprised cameo appearances in many films and specials. The evening will also include and appearance by local comedian Jason Schommer. Tickets for the show are $35 and the laughs start at 7:00 p.m. on Sunday.

    Hamel Rodeo

    Corcoran, Minnesota

    You can see the largest rodeo in the state this weekend. The 37th Hamel Rodeo is one of the best rodeo shows around and one of the most important to the giving back to the community. Over the past 36 years the rodeo has brought in over $1.8 million which have gone to local community organization. This year's contestants will take home the grand prize of $120,000 for their efforts.The rodeo runs tonight (Thursday) through Sunday. Tickets are $18 for adults and $11 for kids (you can get them cheaper through the value connection). The fun starts at 6:00 p.m.

    Primitive Arts Gathering, Knap-in & Rendezvous

    Milaca

    A crazy experience you will never forget is coming to Milaca. The Hairy Mosquito Trading Company his holding their Primitive Arts Gathering, Knap-In and Rendezvous today (Thursday) through Monday. You can see things like arrowheads and jewelry being made, glassblowing and blacksmith demonstrations, food trucks, live music and so much more. The event is free and open to the public. Gates open at 10:00 a.m.

    Music in the Gardens

    Munsinger/Clemens Gardens

    Another Sunday means another musical performance down at Munsinger Clemens Gardens. This weeks “Music in the Gardens” will feature Random Road, which has eclectic and broad musical tastes. The concert is free to all and starts around 3:00 p.m. (weather permitting). There will also be root beer floats available for $1.
