This weekend is host to comedian Bob Larson, who has been on stage in a Las Vegas comedy club, as well in comedy clubs across the U.S. Also the 58-year-old band, The Kingston Trio, will be making a stop in St. Cloud as part of their 30 week tour. If you're a fan of the Beatles you can catch part two of the three part Harmony, Peace, and Love concert series, and in visual arts there are two new exhibits starting this weekend.

    The Kingston Trio started in 1957 from San Francisco. The trio has over forty albums under their belt. They play American folk music, and after 58 years of playing, still are on the road thirty weeks a year. Bill Zorn, George Grove, and Rick Dougherty are the current members of the group. Last September The Kingston Trio was inducted into the Banjo Hall of Fame. They will be performing two shows this weekend. Tickets are $23 for adults, and $22 for seniors. Groups of 20+ tickets are $20. The Kingston Trio will also be playing at the Reif Center in Grand Rapids, MN on Sunday.

    Gallery Saint Germain presents the artwork of Sam Spiczka. His work is based off natural bone forms, rural technology, and geometric structure. His works will be on display now through April 18th. There will be an artist reception and gallery talk on Friday, March 20th as part of the first Art Crawl of 2015. Spiczka has permanent public collections located all over the country, including some right here in Minnesota.

    Harmony, Peace, and Love

    This is part two of a three part concert series that features music from George Harrison, John Lennon, and Paul McCartney. Grant F. Haake, along with his band, bring you the "Peace" portion of the series with the solo music of Lennon. Some music from Ringo will also be spread through out all of the concerts. The third part of the concert series, "Love", will be on May 22nd, and feature the music of Paul McCartney. Tickets are $18 in advance.

    The Little Falls Community High School is hosting their art show at Great River Arts in Little Falls. The exhibit is underway and will run through March 28th. Some upcoming exhibits include Great River Arts Goes Green, the Artists Guild of Central Minnesota, Amber White, and the Great River Arts Juried Exhibition.

    Comedy Show

    The Water's Edge on Pleasant Lake - St. Cloud

    PEAK Entertainment presents a Minnesota native comedian, Bob Larson. Born in Duluth, MN this comedian has done shows at The Riviera Comedy Club in Las Vegas, and has toured with Scott Hanson and Louie Anderson. Tickets are $10 in advance or $15 at the door if there are still tickets available. You can call 612-548-4891 to book your tickets, or reserve them online. There are two shows you can enjoy. Larson has a blue-collar style of comedy, and delivers his jokes like a series of body blows. (Larson was once ranked sixth in the world practicing Wing Chun Kung Fu.) If you want to eat before hand at the restaurant be sure to make reservations. Dinner reservations need to be made by 7:00 p.m., and the show begins at 8:00 p.m.
