Dave and I went to last night's Vikings game because we knew it was going to be a big one for many reasons. First of all Randy Moss was added to the Vikings Ring of Honor during halftime! It was really neat to be part of that moment of Viking's history.

Second, New Orleans Saints running back Adrian Peterson was playing against his former team, the Minnesota Vikings, for the first time last night...and it was at US Bank Stadium. The crowd was so fired up for the game. The energy in the building was exciting to say the least!

It was also September 11th and the Vikings did a great job of honoring those who lost their lives on that day 16 years ago. They invited the family of Hometown Hero Tom Burnett on the field to be recognized for Burnett's bravery on Sept. 11, 2001. Burnett is a former graduate of Saint John's University in Collegeville and was one of the people who gave his life on United Airlines Flight 93.

The Vikings ended up creaming the Saints 29 to 19. Take a peak at some of the photos I got last night!
