The Tooth Fairy Now Pays an Average of $4.36 For a Tooth

A new study found the Tooth Fairy left an average of $4.36 for a tooth last year. That's up 25% from 2013. A first tooth is worth even more money apparently... she pays an average of $5.74 for the first tooth your kid loses.

Her spending in big cities is even steeper. In New York, she pays an average of $13.25 per tooth and in Los Angeles, she pays $9.69. The Tooth Fairy also pays over $5 per tooth in Chicago, Dallas, Houston, and Boston. Thank the lord its not that high here in central Minnesota. I would have to take out a second mortgage.
