When you heard that "Shock Jock" Howard Stern was the new judge on "America's Got Talent," don't feel bad if you cringed a little. A guy that isn't ashamed of getting dirty on his radio show to judging a talent show on network T.V. during prime time really don't go together.

The PTC (Parents Television Council) sent a letter to 91 companies that have advertised with the show, demanding that they boycott the new season, which premieres next Monday. Their argument is that Howard is going to destroy your children, and totally ruin humanity.

"Stern's reputation for sleaze and misogyny is well known . . . and to our knowledge his only previous judging experience consisted of looking at insecure, naked young women and telling them whether or not they were hot enough to pose for 'Playboy'."

None of that is a lie. But, think about this. Do you really think NBC would let Stern get away with his old T.V. habits? Doubtful. There's been no response from NBC, Stern or the show. Fellow judges stand behind him too.

Sharon Osbourne brought this up on "The Talk" yesterday and said that Stern will show viewers a different side of himself.  She would know.  She's also a judge on the show, and they've already started working together. Check out what other "Talk" hosts are saying about Stern and AGT below.

Will you allow your kids to watch AGT with Howard Stern judging?
