There are some amazing homes in Minnesota, and believe it or not they aren't all in the Twin Cities! One in particular is close to this area.

According to Bring Me The News, here is the list of Minnesota's most expensive homes for you to buy...if you have at least $1 million.

  • $24 million - 32,461 square-foot Pillsbury Mansion, 12.91 acres of peninsula land on both Lake Minnetonka in Orono, seven bedrooms and 13 bathrooms.
  • $8.50 million - Seven-bedroom, eight-bathroom mansion in Nisswa.
  • $6.00 million - 2,124-square foot, four-bedroom home, a winter house, a summer guest house, a boat house, over 8,000 feet of shoreline on two different lakes in Ely.
  • $4.95 million - Main log house and six cabins, 16 bedrooms and a combined floorspace of 10,000 square feet near Bigfork.
  • $3.30 million - Four-bedroom, 2,000-square-foot home, 281 acres of land, 7,200 feet of lake shoreline in Center City.

This is really nothing compared to the other homes in the U.S. that are for sale. Minnesota ranks 21st in the most expensive homes for sale in the U.S. Can you imagine what taxes and costs to maintain these mammoth homes would be?
