The Gin Blossoms formed back in 1987 in Tempe, Arizona. They first hit the Billboard charts with the song "Hey Jealousy" from their first major release, New Miserable Experience (1992), but this highlight was mixed with the firing and suicide of the song's writer and co-founder Doug Hopkins, prompting the title of their follow-up album, Congratulations I'm Sorry in 1996. After a series of successful radio singles, the band broke up in 1997. They reunited in 2002 and released a fourth album, Major Lodge Victory, in 2006, and a fifth, No Chocolate Cake, in 2010.

The Gin Blossoms will join headliners Skillet and Buckcherry on Saturday (7/30) night at Halfway Jam XIII. For more information, tickets, VIP and camping, Click HERE.
