Texas Cop Pepper Sprays Squirrel

Texas cops have a reputation for being tough guys, gunslingers and rule-of-law kinda guys. But sometimes you can take that a little too far- A cop in Mesquite TX, Officer Davis was confronted by a squirrel, which he determined to be rabid- and then PEPPER SPRAYED the poor little thing to the horrified screams of the schoolgirls filming the incident. What do you think? Is this animal abuse? Or was he justified?
