Researchers at California State University in Sacramento studied how teenagers asked each other out, to see which method was the most effective. And they found someone was more likely to score a date if they asked someone out using a Facebook message or an email, rather than a typical phone call or a voicemail.

The researchers say it shows people have gotten much better at conveying emotion with writing, that used to be the disadvantage of emails over the phone. Whatever happened to the old fashion way? Seeing that cute girl in school, and finally working up the courage to walk over, introduce yourself, and ask her out? I sound like my parents now!
