Tech Hires Heine as Head Girls Basketball Coach

St. Cloud Tech Athletic Director Andrea Swanberg has hired Karl Heine as their new head girls basketball coach.  Karl replaces Sascha Hansen who resigned this fall to take a girls basketball coaching job in Sartell.  Karl has been an assistant boys basketball coach for the past 8 seasons which included 3 conference titles and 2 state tournament appearances.

Karl also serves as a coach for the Tech Football and Boys Golf programs. He has held many coaching positions at various levels for the past 10 years at Tech.

Heine is a graduate of St. Cloud State University 2009, and a 2005 St. Cloud Tech graduate. He currently teaches sixth grade at South Junior High. Karl, his wife Katie, and their two daughters reside in St. Cloud.
