It's official: Taylor Swift will be doing a worldwide livestream chat with her fans on Yahoo! on Aug. 18 at 5 PM ET.

Even though Yahoo! accidentally let the cat out of the bag a bit too early, the 'We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together' singer officially confirmed the news via Twitter this morning (Aug. 11), writing:

T. Swift had been gearing fans up for her surprise announcement all week, teasing clues on Instagram that involved the number 18, 5:00, and the Yahoo! logo.

In addition to the livestream, the 24-year-old star has a busy couple of weeks on her plate: Not only does 'The Giver' open on Aug. 15, she's also making her way around the late night TV circuit, with appearances on 'Late Night With Seth Meyers' and 'The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon' (and um, based on her amazing teaser, we can't wait). Oh, and did we mention that she'll also be performing at the 2014 MTV Video Music Awards?

Keep it comin', T. Swift. Keep it comin'!

Swifties, what do you think of Taylor Swift's exciting announcement? Will you tune in to her livestream?
