Just another reason why I love Taylor Swift.  She donated all the proceeds to her touching song 'Ronan' to cancer research.  I remember seeing Taylor perform the song at the Stand-Up To Cancer Benefit back in 2012.  I think it took me less than 24 hours to download the song on iTunes and couldn't wait to play it for my wife, who had her own cancer scare in 2012.  The V Foundation announced they're receiving $100,00 from sales of the song.

Taylor wrote the song about a beautiful four-year-old boy who lost his battle with cancer, and how his mom tries to make sense of his passing. The song was actually inspired by May Thompson, Ronan's mother, who turned to blogging after his death.  She continues to blog weekly and started The Ronan Thompson Foundation in Phoenix, Arizona.
