Take Our Daughters And Sons To Work Day Is Coming Up

This year marks the 20 year anniversary of "Take Our Daughters And Sons To Work Day" on Thursday, April 25th. The theme for 2013 is "Work In Progress."

It started as "Take Our Daughter To Work" and expanded to include sons in 2003. The day has generally been scheduled on a day that is a school day for most children in the United States, and schools are provided with literature and encouraged to promote the program.

More than 37 million youth and adults participated last year in over 3.5 workplaces! I'm wondering if anyone will notice if I bring my dog Neena to work. She has fur, four legs and a tail, but she's still my kid.
