NBC Orders More 'Whitney,' Is There Hope for 'Community'?

It's hard to believe that only a few short months ago, NBC comedies 'Whitney' and 'Community' were both banished to the Friday night wasteland, presumably to burn off their final seasons. Then, NBC stepped in to rescue both by delaying their returns in favor of greater promotional pushes, but to date only 'Whitney' has seen the light of day. Now NBC seems to be placing additional faith in 'Whitney,' ordering additional episodes for the series, but will 'Community' recieve the same treatment?

I can't tell you how excited I was to watch the VH1 special "40 Greatest R&B Songs of the 90's." The late 80's / early 90's were such an important part of my childhood and the music provided a soundtrack for some of my fondest memories.
