According to the Chinese calendar 2017 is the year of the Rooster. The St. Cloud State University Confucius Institute will celebrate the new year with a dance performance by the Twin Cities CAAM Chinese Dance Theatre.
St. Cloud Police cited 107 people for various offenses in southside neighborhoods this year during the opening of the St. Cloud State fall semester. This is down from 137 people cited last year and 223 people cited in 2014.
Thousands of college students are venturing to St. Cloud this week, with classes starting back up at St. Cloud State University on Monday. St. Cloud Police say they're preparing extra enforcement patrols to make sure students are safe and responsible.
