Just announced this afternoon, Paul Abdul will not be performing at the Xcel Energy Center tonight with New Kids on the Block and Boyz II Men

Pop superstar Paul Abdul made a brief appearance at the Xcel Energy Center in St. Paul earlier this week.

Word is producers and Simon Cowell were looking to make a fresh start for the show, whose ratings fell below expectations on Season 1.

It never fails. Some people get to wrapped up into what's going on with the T.V. they forget that it is a competition. Astro and Drew were eliminated on "X Factor" last week. Hardcore fans of Drew are taking to Facebook and Twitter to share their personal thoughts.

Paula Abdul is apparently just as loony in real life as she appears on TV. "Us Weekly" says that employees of her act as her motivation speakers. We all need our own personal cheerleaders from time to time, but if we can't think for our own, it becomes a problem.
