Just a few weeks' time will see the late night landscape dramatically shift, as 'Late Night' host Jimmy Fallon finally takes the 'Tonight Show' throne from Jay Leno, and 'SNL' veteran Seth Meyers joins 'Late Night' in his wake. Fallon has tapped cinema icon Will Smith and Irish rockers U2 for his inaugural 'Tonight Show' gig, but who will join Seth Meyers on the couch?

NBC's gamble in resurrecting the live TV musical paid off handsomely (for viewers and tweets, anyway), so the network has set their sights even higher. NBC will next look to adapt 'Peter Pan' as a live televised performance, and has also given a series order to 'Wizard of Oz' drama 'Emerald City,' and a pilot order for 'Grey's Anatomy' vet Katherine Heigl's CIA drama 'State of Affairs.'

'Parks and Recreation' and 'Community' may not be the strongest performers on Thursday nights, but remain among NBC's brightest jewels. To that end NBC president Bob Greenblatt has all-but-assured that 'Parks' will return for a seventh season later on this year, hinting at a strong possibility for 'Community''s renewal as well.

Fans of Will Ferrell's Ron Burgundy return in 'Anchorman: The Legend Continues' might still count themselves surprised a sequel finally got of the ground, but could the same brand of humor land on TV? NBC wants to put a man on the moon with a new 'Anchorman'-style comedy about the 1962 space race, direct from Ferrell and director Adam McKay themselves!
