If you've wondered why 'Stan Lee' makes an appearance in most of Marvel's movie, Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 might shed some light on the reason finally.
These days, it'd take at least two years to watch only only one season's worth of #PeakTV, a quarter of which won't even be around a second year. You’d need some sort of absurd television guidance periodical to navigate it all, but because we love you' we've put together an in-depth look at 30 major must-see premieres kicking off as early as August 31.
Come, wrap some barbed wire around your bats and grab a coffee in Stars Hollow, as we descend into the madness that is Fall TV 2016!
Way back in 2012 (or at least it feels way back), Netflix and Disney struck a deal for all of Disney’s movies — including Marvel, Pixar and Lucasfilm — to stream exclusively on Netflix Instant. According to the terms of their agreement, the deal wouldn’t kick in until 2016, which just so happens to be the year in which we are currently living. As announced today, Netflix will officially begin streaming Disney films in September, but that doesn’t mean the studio’s entire library will magically appear in your Instant browser.
James Gunn is currently in production on Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2, so when recently asked if he’d return to direct Guardians of the Galaxy 3, the director seemed uncertain about whether he wants to stick with Marvel or move on to something else. Marvel hasn’t formally revealed any of its Phase 4 films, but we’ve all just assumed that another Guardians sequel is part of that plan — according to Kevin Feige, that assumption is correct.
Marvel’s Ant-Man opens in theaters today and to this point we’ve seen no shortage of trailers, clips and TV spots showing off all kinds of footage. But, on the last stop on his promotional tour for the movie, Paul Rudd stopped by to visit Conan O’Brien and brought something extra special.
When your teammates are the Hulk, Thor, Iron Man and Captain America even good super heroes can go unnoticed. So one teammate decided to speak up. Hawkeye (Jeremy Renner) was on Jimmy Fallon a few weeks ago and talked about his strengths the best way he knew how -- through song.
If you’re like us, you’ve already watched the new trailer for Avengers 2 a dozen (or a hundred) times, breaking it down by shot-by-shot and creating gifs and everything. Well, it turns out that we are not alone in our borderline psychotic anticipation for Marvel’s next epic team-up movie. The trailer has shattered records, garnering more views in 24 hours than any other trailer in internet history.
It’s here. It’s finally here. The first trailer for Marvel’s ‘Ant-Man’ arrived during tonight’s two-hour ‘Agent Carter’ premiere. If for some strange reason you didn’t tune in to see Peggy Carter’s television debut (what’s your excuse?), the trailer has arrived online for your viewing pleasure. Following Marvel’s clever tiny teaser marketing, you’ll be pleased to watch Paul Rudd’s heroics in this regular-sized trailer.
Well that certainly escalated quickly: over the last couple of weeks Robert Downey Jr. has played rather coy about what's next for Tony Stark and Iron Man in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, but now it looks like we know the answer, as he's just been recruited for 'Captain America 3,' in a storyline that's said to bring Marvel's Civil War arc to the big screen -- which is a rather huge development.
Well it's about time! Marvel has finally revealed an officially licensed dancing baby Groot toy from 'Guardians of the Galaxy,' and this little dude will be available to take home just in time for you to put him under the tree for that special someone for Christmas. Or if you're anything like us, you're already making plans to use him instead of a Christmas tree this year. Festive!
