We Visited “The Ice Cream Capitol of the World”
Ronald Reagan designated July as National Ice Cream Month in 1984. Reagan recognized the popularity of ice cream in the United States (90% of the nation's population consumes ice cream) and stated that this event should be observed with "appropriate ceremonies and activities.” Not one to go against the wishes of a former President, my daughter and I visited “The Ice Cream Capitol of the World
