Recently ousted ‘Big Brother’ cast member Aaryn Gries, who came under fire for her repeated racist and homophobic comments, may think that's what being from Texas is all about -- but her mom begs to differ. That said, she also doesn't hold Aaryn totally responsible.

One of the first life lessons kids seem to pick up is that when you're accused of something awful, deny deny deny. Even if you did it. Even if there are cameras that caught you doing it. At least that seems to be the theory ousted 'Big Brother' cast member Aaryn Gries -- aka "the racist one" -- went with when she said she's not a horrible person. She's just, you know, Texan.
