SHERBURNE COUNTY -- Three people are hurt after a military tanker collided with two SUVs on Friday afternoon in Sherburne County.

The state patrol says the incident happened shortly before 1:30 p.m. on Highway 10 near milepost 181.

A northbound military tanker hauling a trailer driven by 23-year-old Caleb Sazama of Eden Prairie lost control on the icy road and sideswiped an SUV traveling alongside.

The two vehicles crossed the median into the southbound lanes where an SUV driven by 27-year-old Abdirahman Osman of Eden Prairie crashed into the tanker.

Sazama, one of his passengers, 22-year-old Vanessa Bjork of Richfield, and Osman all suffered non life-threatening injuries.
