ALBANY -- A St. Joseph woman was hurt after crashing her vehicle near Albany over the weekend.

The incident happened at about 6:00 p.m. Friday night at the intersection of County Road 10 and 390th Street in Krain Township.

The Stearns County Sheriff's Office says 33-year-old Trisha Beuning was driving a Lincoln MKZ when she left the roadway, hit a field approach, went airborne and landed in a nearby field.

The vehicle sustained heavy damage to the front bumper and hood. Beuning was take to St. Cloud Hospital for her injuries.

The crash is under investigation and alcohol is believed to be a factor in the crash.
