For 99 of the past 100 years, Americans have remembered those who served our country on November 11 in the Great War. At first known as Armistice Day, and then, in 1954 it was changed to Veterans Day. First declared by the President last year, this November again marks a month of recognizing our Veterans and their families in service to our country and communities. 2018 being its second year, National Veterans and Military Families Month features more than 300 events at VA hospitals, benefits offices and cemeteries across the country!
