ST. CLOUD -- The St. Cloud community gathered this (Thursday) evening at a candle light vigil for Keletigui "Papi" Keita.

A year has passed and the unsolved murder of the St. Cloud Kilimandjaro Market owner leaves many with unanswered questions. Keita's brother Seyedo Keita hopes there will be a break through in the case soon.

"We just want to have a solution to what happened to him, we don't want his name to go away like this, I know they (the police) are trying to do their job but its been a year now," says Seyedo Keita.

Keita was known for being an easy going person who always made people feel welcome in his market.

Seyedo Keita says his brother was a funny guy, everyone love him and children nicknamed him "uncle p" because they loved him so much.

The African Coalition Network (ACN) is working to create a scholarship in Keita's name.

Co-founder of ACN Emmanuel Oppong says the scholarship will represent community and Keita's values.

Keita was found dead from a gunshot wound in his St. Cloud apartment last June.

Anyone with information on  the incident is urged to contact St. Cloud Police at 320-251-1200 or the Tri-County Crimestoppers at 320-255-1301.
