Six Taken to Hospital by Ambulance After St. Cloud Crash

ST. CLOUD - Six people, including a 3-year-old boy, were taken to the Hospital after a two vehicle crash in St. Cloud on Wednesday.

The crash happened just after 1:30 p.m. at the intersection of 9th Avenue North and Northway Drive.

St. Cloud Police say a pickup truck driven by 41-year-old Keith Krueger of Rice was going south on 9th Avenue through the intersection. At the same time, a van driven by 32-year-old Joshua Engel of New Munich was going north on 9th Avenue, when he tried to make a left turn onto Northway Drive.

Police say Engel failed to yield and both vehicles collided in the intersection. Kruger has minor injuries but wasn't taken to the hospital.

Engel and five other passengers in his van were taken to St. Cloud Hospital by ambulance with minor injuries. The five passengers were 22-year-old Ashley Marthaler, 21-year-old Shelby Marthaler, 39-year-old Tonya Anderson, 3-year-old Conner Wessmann and 17-year-old Carley Anderson.

Engel was given a citation for driving after revocation and failure to yield.
