It's funny when kids are at that age where they'll believe anything parents tell them. If only they'd stay that young and naive forever.

Here are six lies parents have (actually) told their kids to get them to behave, relax, or stop asking for things. I'm going to try a few of these out on Macy and see if they work.

1. "If the ice cream truck is playing music, it means they ran out of ice cream."

2. "If you don't behave in the McDonald's drive thru, you get a Sad Meal instead of a Happy Meal."

3. "This isn't soda, it's black water, you wouldn't like it."

4. "They don't sell replacement batteries for that toy."

5. "Calamari is Italian onion rings."

6. "Chuck E. Cheese is only for birthday parties. You have to be invited to one to go there."

Thanks to the Daily Mail for the post.
