ST. JOSEPH -- Six people were hurt after a two vehicle crash Sunday afternoon.

The incident happened just before 2:00 p.m. at the intersection of County Road 2 and County Road 75 in St. Joseph Township.

Stearns County Sheriff John Sanner says 52-year-old Thomas Schrup, of St. Joseph, was heading north on County Road 2, when he was unable to stop for a red light and struck a Chevrolet Tahoe.

The driver of the second vehicle was 49-year-old Hermenegildo Olivares, of Perham. Olivares and his five passengers were taken to St. Cloud hospital for non life-threatening injuries.

Schrup and his passenger, 59-year-old Myra Schrup were not hurt.
