SCSU Brings Back Homecoming, Events Announced

St. Cloud State University shut down homecoming a few years ago but they're bringing it back this year in a big way. There are several events planned for on and off campus.

The homecoming kickoff is Wednesday, October 17 at Atwood Memorial Center Mall starting at noon. You can join students for a pep rally, Ferris wheel rides, games, activities, food and prizes.

Celebrity guest Dave Coulier known for his role as Uncle Joey on Full House will headline a comedy show in Ritsche Auditorium on Thursday, Oct. 18 at 7 p.m. Tickets are on-sale now and can be purchased online through SCSU's ticket site.

The SCSU women's soccer team takes on Sioux Falls on Friday, Oct. 19 at 1 p.m. at Husky Stadium.

The public is invited to the homecoming bonfire and pep rally on Friday, Oct. 19 starting at 6 p.m. in the SCSU Q Lot.

St. Cloud's Downtown will be hosting an art crawl on Friday, Oct. 19 starting at 5 p.m. starting at he Paramount Gallery on Saint Germain.

The SCSU men's hockey team takes on Northern Michigan on Friday, Oct. 19 at the Herb Brooks National Hockey Center.

You're invited to the 2018 Homecoming 5k Run/Walk at the Herb Brooks National Hockey Center on Saturday, Oct. 20 at 8:30 a.m. Then, you're encouraged to stick around afterward for the SCSU football game at Husky Stadium. Kickoff is set for 1 p.m.
