NEW LONDON - A semi driver from Sauk Rapids was involved in a three vehicle crash, caused by another driver, near New London. The Minnesota State Patrol says it happened just before 6:30 p.m. Sunday on Highway 23.

A vehicle driven by 50-year-old Beverly Tauer of New London was going east when she tried to turn in front of the semi, causing the broadside crash. Tauer was taken to Rice Memorial in Willmar with non life-threatening injuries.

The semi driver, 45-year-old Scott Schauer of Sauk Rapids, was not hurt.

A secondary crash happened when Tauer's vehicle struck another vehicle which was stopped at a stop sign. That driver, 26-year-old Jacob Ternes of Marshall, was not hurt.
