BOSTON - Tim Wright of Sauk Rapids is one of several local people who were in Boston today (Monday) for the marathon.  Wright says he had just finished the race, and was only two blocks away when he heard the blasts.

Wright finished the race with Liz Wateland of Sauk Rapids.  Their spouses, Ryan Wateland and Brenda Wright, were in the food court area at the time, basically across the street from the explosion.  They are also okay.

None of them saw any of the injured people.  He says they heard constant sirens for at least 20 minutes after the blasts.
