SARTELL -- Sartell officials will look to approve not bringing back a city service mobile app during tonight's (Monday) city council meeting.

SeeClickFix was designed to help residents report neighborhood concerns or request city services at the click of a button.

Planning and Community Development Director Anita Rasmussen says since the app launched in 2014 they've noticed a decline in usage.

They logged 32 issues in 2014, 196 in 2015 and 85 since August.

Rasmussen says residents seem more comfortable reporting complaints via email or phone call.

If approved the city will save about $5,000 per year.
