SARTELL -- Sartell officials want to help you learn a new way of gardening.

Next month the city will be holding a rain garden workshop and tour at Sartell City Hall.

A rain garden is a garden which takes advantage of rainfall and stormwater runoff in its design and plant selection.

The workshop will help you identify native plants and weeds, garden maintenance and cost-share program information.

The event is free and participants will receive native plant books, informational folders, seed packets and a chance at several door prizes.

The workshop will take place August 4th from 6:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. and is limited to 25 people.

If you are interested in attending, you're asked to contact Nate Keller at 320-258-7316 (or by email at Nate.Keller@sartellmn.com) before August 1st.
