It’s no secret by now that one of my favorite things to do is read the Sartell Police Department blotter. What they consider to be news worthy is a little endearing and highly entertaining. It’s always nice to read police reports and realize that not everybody is always up to shady things! Sartell is proof of that.

Without further ado, here are some of my favorite police calls spanning from March 16-22.

Friday, March 18-11:11 pm. 5th Ave East. Intense video game playing aka Loud Music. A complaint was made regarding loud music coming from a residence. Officers arrived to find two juvenile males playing video games. They stated they would turn down the volume."

Saturday, March 19-11:02 pm. Troop Drive. Child's fit aka Welfare Check. "A report was made regarding a small child crying at a residence. An officer checked the home and found that the child was crying from getting her hair caught. No assistance was needed." (Is anyone else wondering what her hair was caught on?)

Sunday, March 20-10:51 pm. Lowell Lane. Left on lights aka Burglary. "A report was made possibly regarding an unknown person inside a residence due to lights on inside. Officers cleared the residence and found the home was secure."

Hopefully the blotter put a smile on your face like it did mine today! Keep being you, Sartell!
