Sartell Couple Donates $100,000 Towards Sartell Community Center

SARTELL -- The city of Sartell has received another donation to go towards the new Sartell Community Center.

George and Shirley Torrey have donated $100,000 to the project. The couple have contributed to many projects in the Central Minnesota community and currently reside in Sartell.

Earlier this week BankVista also donated $20,000 to the project, which includes three varsity basketball courts, walking track, senior center, and community library.

The Sartell Community Center is expected to be open in August.
