WHATS HAPPENING

Last week, I posted about Delia, a beautiful little 4 month old St. Cloud girl, in need of our help. Delia has been diagnosed with a heart condition called dilated cardiomyopathy.

UPDATE

Delia is being transferred to The Mayo Clinic in Rochester.  Due to the type of condition Delia has, she will most likely be put on the MOST URGENT transplant list. The typical wait time for those on this list is 1 to 6 months, with 90 days of mandatory recovery time in Rochester at the Mayo Clinic.

Earlier, we reported that Delia has been put on two different medications to improve her heart function, had multiple EKG's, multiple echoardiograms, and MRI, put on blood pressure medications, put on tube feeding and had a Broviac central line put in. Delia is still smiling, but she has a long road ahead of her.

As you can imagine, the expense of Delia's many procedures, this has been financially difficult for the family, with both parents having to take time off from work to care for Delia, as well as care for their other daughter Harper, who is just 3 1/2 years old. The bills are adding up quickly and this family could really use our help.
