WHAT'S HAPPENING

Recently I featured the Baca family in our local 411. The Baca's have adopted special needs children in the past, and are in the process of adopting two more beautiful children from China, that tragically, lost both of their parents in a very short time frame. One of the boys is almost too old for adoption, so the Baca's are in a race to get them here before he ages out. In the process of adopting their new sons, they found out that their biological son Max, who has special needs, was in desperate need of a kidney. On top of all of this, the Baca's lost one of their adopted children a few years ago. It has been very trying times for this beautiful warm and loving family.

CHEYENNE GAVE MAX A KIDNEY ON MONDAY

In typical giving Baca nature, when I contacted mother, Karla Baca, The Baca's oldest daughter Cheyenne was in the process of finding out if she could be a match for her brother Max, wanting to give her brother one of her kidneys.

Since then, the Baca's have made it through the two surgeries. Their oldest child Cheyenne went in for surgery to remove a kidney, and then about an hour later, Max went in to surgery to receive that kidney. Both children are doing well.

PLEASE DONATE TO THE  BACA'S GO FUND ME PAGE

The Baca's need our help. I'm hoping that you will click HERE and make a contribution to assist them with the costs that they are enduring, trying to bring their children home from China, and now, with Max and Cheyenne in surgery today...A life saving surgery for Max, one of the sweetest boys I've ever met. And what about his sister Cheyenne? How many of us could be a hero at such a young age? I'm hoping that you will think about all the blessings you have, and if you can, be a blessing to this family by making a contribution today.
