Robin Thicke is not going down without a fight. He and Paula Patton may have "mutually" decided to separate after eight years of marriage (they had been together for more than 20), but the 'Blurred Lines' singer says that all he is trying to do is get his wife back.

When asked about his separation by a TMZ photographer, Thicke candidly replies, "I'm just trying to win her back."

Thicke may have a tough road ahead of him. Rumors that he cheated on Patton run rampant, and being photographed groping and dirty dancing with women who were not his wife certainly doesn't help his case. But one raunchy act that didn't actually contribute to the singer's split was his risqué VMAs performance with Miley Cyrus.

Thicke not only flat-out denied on camera that the provocative act with the 'Wrecking Ball' singer had anything to do with the demise of his marriage -- but he also vows that his performance style will stay the same. Watch the candid video above!
